My Very Own Christmas Tag...

Before we begin, let's just take a moment to appriciate something.

TOMORROW IS CHRISTMAS DAY.

Well, I meant to make a video for my channel, (Click here to view my Broadway Channel) but I didn't. It's probably going to make it onto the internet somehow. I figured it'll be easier if I just do it on my keyboard instead of on camera. #slackinlikemcfly #ifyougetthatreference #iwillloveyouforever

Alright, I have my 12 questions here, and my answers at my fingertips. Let's get started!

1. What is your favorite Christmas movie?
Well, obviously, I am in LOVE with Elf. (Hence the use of GIF) Although, I do love White Christmas and Rudolph the Rednosed Reindeer. Just the classics.

2. Do you own a Christmas sweater?
Unfortunately, I do not. :( And it may be too late into the season to get one, considering it's Christmas Eve. Although, I really do want the red Rudolph sweater from Khols. It's simply adorable. UPDATE. I was just given a Christmas Sweater from my sister this morning. :)

3. What is your dream location for Christmas?
Honestly, I'll have to go with the cliché answer and say either New York or Disney World. But I know that they'd both be crowded, but I just want to go to see a Broadway show.

4. What is your favorite food at Christmas time?
Okay, my mom has the recipe from the Pioneer Woman of cinnamon rolls with maple icing and they are phenomenal. I don't think it would be Christmas without making them at least one time.

5. What is your favorite Christmas song?
I'd have to say White Christmas or the new Straight No Chaser song Text Me Merry Christmas. :)

6. Is your tree real or fake?
Fake. And really tall. Huge. My 19 year old, 6'2" brother is the only one who can reach the top. With a ladder.

7.  Are you good at wrapping gifts?
PFFFTTTT no.

8. Are you looking forward to any Christmas traditions this year?
Well, my family and I are HUGE movie enthusiasts and have a tendency to go to the movies on holidays. So, in 2012, we went to see the first showing of Les Misérables, and we're going to do the same thing with Into the Woods this year!! :D

9. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer?
Honestly, I don't know if he has updated his reindeer, like if any of them retired, so I don't know. But I can name the classic ones:
Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, and Vixen, Comet, and Cupid, and Donner, and Blitzen. BUT DO YOU RECALL THE MOST FAMOUS REINDEER OF ALLLLLLLL? Rudolph. Fin.

10. Is your family coming together this holiday?
My brother is here from all the way across the country until Dec. 26. :/ He's an athlete.

11. Do you perfer giving or recieving gifts?
Well, I don't want to be spoiled and say, "I LOVE GETTING GIFTS. OMG." But it's true. I do enjoy seeing the looks on everyone's faces and I love shopping for them too. I just don't like looking at my terrible wrapping job. XD

12. The most memorable Christmas moment?
I don't know. I mean, guess seeing Les Mis for the first time was a magical experience for me?

I guess I should tag some people. Feel free to make a video instead of a blog post.

Well, thank you for reading this, if you actually did.

Merry Christmas.

It's been a while...

I am so stressed.

Well, I missed my class on the day of our Christmas Party and Midterms. We went down to Greensboro, NC to see my brother swim at Nationals. (!!!) However, my teacher is sending me my test to take at home. My mother said that I shall take it tomorrow morning. I am doing great on everything except for Latin.

Ok, Latin in general is hard, I am all caught up on the excercises and flash cards. It's just the grammar rules.

Long story short, it's 12:40 AM and I am still studying for my Latin exam. I am not finished yet, because I'm procrastinating. I'm sitting here with my tea, blogging about how stressed I am. Smart move, Hayden. Smart move.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I shall go and read the third book of Warriors: A New Prophecy. My friend is letting my borrow the books, and I just got this one on Monday. I'm excited. ^-^

I'll post more if I survive...

What I'm Thankful For...

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

Ok, so I just finished watching the parade, and I was crushed that I missed the Broadway Performances. I LIVE FOR THOSE PERFORMANCES.

Anyway, I have decided that I'm going to make a post about what I'm thankful for (hence the title ^).

1. I'm thankful for musicals.
If musical theatre didn't exist, then I wouldn't exist.
2. I'm thankful for my two extremely goobery friends, Nelly + Leland
I met them in my theatre troupe, and I am super grateful that I haven't scared them away yet!
3. I'm thankful for my sister.
My sister is the person I go to for boy trouble and all related. We share the love for musicals and fangirl together over Doctor Who, DC and all of our fandoms. I can't explain how amazing she is!
4. I am thankful for tea.
Tea is a wonderful chemical substance that I turn to every two hours (estimated). I am in love.
5. I am thankful for books.
My escape. Why wouldn't I be thankful?
6. I am thankful for music.
I would literally fall to pieces without music. It's not even funny.
7. I am thankful for my older brother.
From swimming, to singing, he was always there to give me advice and help me. I can't wait to see him at Christmas!
8. I am thankful for school.
It may sound weird, but I actually enjoy the school I do. I'm looking forward to each coming year!
9. I am thankful for my father.
Earthly and Heavenly. I am extraordinarily blessed.
And Finally...
10. I am thankful for my mom.
Today is her birthday as well as Thanksgiving and she is probably the most amazing person and the absolute highlight of my day. I love her to the moon and back.

SEVERAL HOURS LATER

Well, I just got back from a great dinner with my family. We saw Kirk Cameron's Saving Christmas and it was AMAZING. Highly recommended!

Salutations!

My name is Hayden Beth. I am a redheaded, homeschooled girl with a love for peanut butter and narwhals.

Just kidding. Although, I do love those things, as well as numerous others.

-Dancing through life
-Stopping the beat
-Singing in the rain

No, seriously. Stop with the musical references, Hayden. You're going to break yourself.

I delight in the simple things in life. Chai tea, books, Disney movies, skinny jeans, over-sized sweatshirts, DC Comics, musicals, cute coffee mugs, Spotify, etc.

I am the youngest in my family. Our neighbors, and very good friends, call me Red 3, (for obvious reasons). I live with my mom, my dad, my older sister, and my two dogs. I have an older brother, as well, but he is all the way across the country swimming in college.

I am in several different fandoms including: Doctor Who, Sherlock, DC, Marvel, Once Upon a Time, Young Justice, and Warriors: A New Prophecy.

I love God. He is in my heart and that is where He will stay!

I am a theatre girl with a hint of aspiring author-ness. I pin thousands of theatre-kid-problems on Pinterest every day, and am in the progress of three books total. Two on Wattpad and one is being handwritten in a sprialbound notebook. What can I say? Theatre and writing are my passions.

So, there's my introduction. Too much?

Yours Truly, Hayden Beth
